Smart Suit A wearable embedded body motion processing system |

Scope of Work

|
Processing and interpretation of the wearable fiber optical sensor data
into human anatomical movement and build the processing system into a
wearable computing platform for sensing and control usage. He/she will
be part of the team working on robotics/mechatronics projects for entertainment and human
assistive technology. |
|
Qualifications : |
| |
A Masters / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering
/ Biomedical Engineering or related discipline, with knowledge of a combination
of at least two of the following areas: fiber optics, embedded system design,
kinematics and human motion study. |

Scope of Work
: |

1. |
Analyze multi-channel time serial signals from various body sensors;
propose new approaches of feature extraction and pattern recognition; conduct
testing on both healthy and pathologic subjects and evaluate experimental
results. |

2. |
Build system prototype that is used for ambulatory monitoring of daily
life activities and cardio status; GUI design and database management for the
system |

Qualifications : |
| |
Masters / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering for the
position of Research Assistant.
Hands-on C, JAVA and database programming, good at OpenGL, 2D or 3D animation,
knowledgeable about signal processing, self-motivated and good team player. |

Design:
You will be
responsible for research and development in analog/mixed-signal/digital
integrated circuits and subsystems for wireless body area network, wireless
sensor network, and other low-voltage low-power bio-systems. |

Qualifications : |
| |
A Bachelor's / Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics and/or Computer
Engineering.
Possess at least 2 to 3
years of relevant experience and knowledge in one or more of the following
areas: Analog/mixed signal IC and/or Digital IC design in CMOS/BiCMOS.
Knowledge and/or experience
in using tools such as ADS, HSPICE and/or Synopsys tools etc.
Good interpersonal skills
with the ability to work independently and as well as in a team.
Fresh graduates with strong
interest in IC design will also be considered.
